Orange Buffalo, which has made a name for itself in the London food truck scene for its New York-style Buffalo chicken wings coated in house sauce, will open its first brick-and-mortar restaurant at Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen from East London on October 11, 2017..

The Orange Buffalo, which has a permanent food truck at The Old Truman Brewery – Ely’s Yard – just off Brick Lane, also plans to announce its first London-based franchisee in the near future, working with Franchise Growth & Development.
Mike So and Nick White started The Orange Buffalo after a road trip in the United States that exposed them to American dive bars. They decided to bring the sour, spicy and crispy New York bison wings to the UK with a creamy and salty blue cheese dip. They developed their own flavor for the sauce, which earned them their first wingfest in London.
So and White will serve its wings with its range of six more or less spicy sauces; their “Original” hot sauce made with Dutch peppers; to “Woof Woof” made with Scotch Bonnets, Dutch peppers and a hint of Naga; as well as the “Snake-In A Basket” – a kind of Russian Roulette of Original wings or Woof Woof, including one loaded with a “Viper” – their most spicy sauce made from Scotch Bonnets, Naga and chilli extract which is often served with an “anti-venom” (a “Mini Milk” ice cream).
All wings can be ordered with a selection of sides: fried fries, onion rings or fried pickles, and more.
The menu will include some novelties, specially designed for Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen, such as the “The Bloody Veggie” burger made with roasted beets, chestnut mushrooms, brown rice, adzuki beans and almond pancake, Swiss cheese, tomato, lettuce. , blue cheese and pickle vinaigrette.
The kitchen will be open on Monday from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday to Thursday, 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, 4 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Saturday, from 5 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. and Sunday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
