One of the best perks of summer is being able to enjoy a refreshing drink and a delicious meal outside after months of freezing cold.

However, for dog owners, it can be difficult to leave your four-legged friend at home alone, especially if they are having separation issues. If you’ve adopted a new dog while working from home in the past 14 months and they’ve gotten used to having you home almost 24/7, it can be even more difficult. to leave it alone at home for long periods of time.

Fortunately, there are many bars, cafes, and restaurants throughout the area that allow dogs. Here are five to consider the next time you’re planning a day away from the house with your pooch.

Steve Morlock and his fiancee Megan Sitarek opened Barkology, a bar and dog park, on April 24.
