The Buffalo Bills came in on Sunday 7-6 and faced what looked like a must-see game at Highmark Stadium against the Carolina Panthers.
The Bills did just that, beating the Panthers by a score of 31-14. The offense struggled a bit, but played an excellent game overall against one of the best defenses in the NFL.
One thing, however, that Bills fans are talking about that happened during the game, was after their second touchdown.
Allen’s backhand touchdown pass to Stefon Diggs gave the Bills a 14-0 lead, but it also made for an all-time sporting moment in Buffalo.
Bills rookie tackle Spencer Brown took a beer from the stands at Highmark Stadium and drank a few to celebrate, even including Diggs in the party.
Spencer Brown has had a rough day, switching to left tackle due to both Dion Dawkins and Jon Feliciano being placed on the Reserve / COVID-19 roster. He was called for five penalties, including an expensive taunt call that halted a second-half Bills practice.
Brown has had a good rookie season, taking on a starting role as a third-round draft pick in the draft. It also matches the character of Blue Collar Buffalo, a hard working, fun loving guy.
The Bills next face the New England Patriots at Foxborough, in a game that means a lot to the AFC East Division and the playoff image in general.
